You know, Renee may be a marketing genious after all. Just think, vast majority of us felt so ill after watching 'The Fowler Show' that those of us not strong enough to resist it may have been driven to our freezers for a pint of Chunky Monkey or (in my case) a sixpack of frozen snickers bars... now, we are good and ready to throw some business her way.. Very clever and clearly a result of such superior intellect.

Oh, this is rich.. I've sat on several boards (small ones, but very hard working) and (heloo!) yes, you are a volunteer but to get on them one must be seen as providing a tangible set of values: connections, fundraising and (have I mentioned it yet?) fundraising. It is all about money. In exchange, one may get (in an addition to a sense of satisfaction of helping a worthy cause) more business connections. Some join these boards as a method of social climbing - I love how this fraud managed to expose himself. LOVED IT!

I can't remember the exact quote, but the statement made by Renee that absolutely floored me was her remark that she doesn't spend that much time with her kids because it "doesn't fit with her personality" and would make her "grumpy." Again, I don't have the exact quote but that's the jist of the statement. Think that one over and the hierarchy of priorities that it implies, and then run for the barf bag.

Oh, I doubt UK would want him back either. The class system is more visible there but somehow I doubt that he would be found all that popular there either. I'm (seriously!) pinging editors of some of the biggest tabloids becuase Britis press is (I kid you not!) a lot less forgiving than ours. I hope that they bite.

I find it odd that Mr. Fowler has taken such offense at peoples weight. Perhaps he resents his wife working with overweight people and so he needs to lash out at them for taking her away from him. There are definitely relationship issues there. I have to wonder where all of this rage for Mrs. Long was coming from. I would like to offer kudos to the Longs for remaining so calm in the face of a constant barrage of cruel childish remarks and also for their open mindedness. If Mr. Fowler is as smart as he believes then he would know that he is devoid of wisdom. On the other hand the longs seem like a loving family receptive to change. The Long children will no doubt as all human beings since the begining of time have their troubles. The Fowler children (and I cannot believe how apt the sur name is for this family) will undoubtly never find the smallest bit of happiness, because they were not raised to be human beings. But perhaps Wife Swap is going Jerry Springer and this was all just made up. I really cannot imagine anyone being as crude as Mr. Fowler.

Stephen, I am a British university graduate, from a British military family. I am grateful for the fortune that fate has bestowed upon me. There but for the grace of God go I, after all!
More than one generation of my family has been decorated in the UK for their service to others.
I don't respect you. You demonstrate a lack of any sense of humility or gratitude to the types of people your privileged life depends on.
To think anyone in the free world would risk their life protecting someone like you, someone who lives as a parasite feeding off it's host. Your attitude is too dreadful to contemplate.
Rather typically, the only person you have impressed is your unfortunate, gullible wife. What business did she run Mr IQ 158? Was it an astrophysics laboratory? Not a surprise is it?
I suggest you put up this pathetic pose to subjugate her whilst you collude with her social climbing pretensions. Preying on peoples' weakness is something you seem practiced at. Perhaps your own self imposed label is the currency you use in your life but the viewing public haven't time or patience to put up with such nonsense. At least you are getting honest feedback. That is a service to you.
I doubt you really have an IQ of 158. How was that calculated, the equivalence of a GMAP score? What utter rubbish. You are not as clever as you are wealthy and you know it. You seem to have self discipline I will give you that, but you look like you studied accountancy at the local Polytechnic.

I find it ironic in the extreme that Stephen and his wife concretely consider themselves educated and enlightened "world citizens" and ones who openly and warmly embrace the multitudinous cultures of the world. He stupidly and very openly displayed nothing but utter, titanic contempt and poisonous scorn for the majority of human beings in this world of which he views himself a citizen.
It's beyond apparent that the two of them live in a fantasy world. I dare even to say that they are not sane. Perhaps that's redundant? It was profoundly disgusting and sorrowful that Renee unwittingly admitted, obviously thinking it was healthy, for her to be as uninvolved with her children as she apparently is. After all, dahhhhlings, we don't want to unsuit mummy's personality and cause her to be grumpy, now do we? There's a dear. Now do rush along.
Renee has fallen hook, line, and sinker for that quagmire of deception and lies known as poppsych,or popular psycholgy, if you will. In other words, she's a proper loon. Let's not go into her despicable self absorption and avarice.
Her husband (the center of attention in all of this), being carried away upon his soaring arogance and blinded by his own sublime brilliance, makes an utter, complete, vomitous, and possibly even irreparable mockery out of the causes he claims to support and of which he was/is a board member.
And to hold the average North American with such black despisal and inequality with himself and his is also to hold his fellow average Brit with the same loathing and hatred. Yes my friends, I'm afraid they really are, generally speaking, as overweight, uneducated, and unmotivated as any American. The problem here is that that is what our medias say about each other, and we believe it. The problem is not nearly so bad as the medias in both countries make it out to be. But that's another subject altogether.
Let's face it. All in all Stephen merely displayed, to the world, a commonplace attitude that exists amongst the world's wealthy, "cultured", elite towards "the great unwashed" (you and me). He just lacked the self control and wisdom to keep it between he and his piers. When they get to the other side the joke will be on them. There, unless they had changed significantly for the better in this life, will find that it is only they, after all, who regard themselves so highly.

Ummm.... I think that rather than T-shirts I propose that we start selling disposable dog poo and cat box litter liners with Fowler's face on them - just call them, The Fowl Ones (after the man who inspired them). All proceeds should be donated homeless shelters and ASPCA/animal charities. They, of course, must be biodegradable and each will be absorbed into the sewage, sanitized and recycled - thus fulfilling SF's (Steven Fowler's) SF (San Francisco) dream of becoming one with nature... and then there is that whole fetilizer connection. All things considered, I'm really digging my proposal! Go Green! Recycle Fowler!
